Design is one of the core elements of our technical approach. Goa Gomma develops customized rubber compounds for industrial applications, based on functional requirements, customer specifications and applicable standards.
Each formulation is the outcome of a structured process: needs analysis, raw-material selection, compound design and, validation testing. Everything is documented, traceable and supported by our internal laboratory.
We work starting from:
- Customer specifications (with or without detailed data)
- Required technical parameters (resistance, behaviour, hardness, etc.)
- Industry standards (automotive, hydraulics, etc.)
- Previous experience and benchmarking of similar compounds
Each new formulation is internally tested and validated with documented physical-mechanical tests.
Production planning
Not just a formula: we tailor production to your process
Design also includes defining the optimal production parameters to ensure:
- Alignment with the final application
- Compatibility with customer moulds and equipment
- Functional packaging (coils, rolls, bales, festoon)
- Optimized workflow from mixing → delivery → molding
Each production line is programmed to reduce variables and maximize repeatability.
We operate according to the required technical parameters.
During the design phase, we evaluate:
- Performance requirements
- Environmental and contact regulations (technical fluids)
- Chemical compatibility
- Compliance with national or international standards
We supply compounds that are:
- Approved
Designed for external certification bodies - Non-approved
Internally verified and supplied with complete technical documentation (TDS, SDS, lab data)
If external certification is required, Goa Gomma can:
- Adapt the formulation to certification-body requirements
- Recommend an accredited laboratory
- Provide all relevant technical documentation
